Trevor Loman is a Canadian actor, artist, musician, model, screenwriter and playwright, currently based out of Southern Alberta. Originally from Lethbridge, Trevor has performed in a variety of stage plays, and short films. Trevor is the Co-Founder of Starset Media which was established in 2021 as an emerging Media production company with a mission of offering various media production services and creating films with strong and compelling narratives. Recently, Starset Media's short film Scavenger, written and directed by Trevor, was part of the official selection for the Toronto Film and Script Awards where it was awarded both Best Narrative Short and Best Director.
Best known for his portrayals of Jonas in Carnaticum ( TheatreXtra, 2018), Sid Myers in Daisy (The Playgoers of Lethbridge, 2020), The Gryphon in ALICE: A Devised Adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland (2019), and Michael in In Tongues (2020) all produced by The University of Lethbridge. In addition to stage acting, he has also found a place in front of the camera, having portrayed Kieren in Prevention and Milo in A Monster (Incorruptible Productions, 2020), Wallace in Trapped with Cards (Chief Calf Productions, 2020), Liam in the teaser trailer for Border Crossing (Rebel8 Productions, 2020) and The Date in In Other News... (LAABoratory Films, 2020) . One of his more creative and ambitious projects was the role of Parker in Like Tom Cruise Loves Running (2020) an experimental collaboration between Dancing Monkey Laboratories, unit2 studios, and Tim Nguyen Co. which was designed to investigate how a theatrical play, and performers within, can be re-imagined in a digital world with the camera itself being considered a "character" within the performance.
When in comes to performing for the stage, Trevor has taken quite a liking to the works of William Shakespeare having portrayed Bassianus in Titus Andronicus (University of Lethbridge Mainstage, 2020), Malcolm in Macbeth (2019), Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor (2020) and Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2021) all produced by The Lethbridge Shakespeare Performance Society. He also appeared as Banquo in another production of Macbeth (2020) produced by Potluck Collective. Trevor plans to continue his exploration of Shakespeare's work and hopes to bring to life many more of the Bard's famous characters.
Most recently Trevor has continued his work in the film industry having appeared in feature films such as The Rancher in Never There: The Courier and Deputy Fredrickson in Kate and Lesley (Little Piggy Films) and as Jeus in Range Road 290 (Breathing Forest Productions). As well as appearing in the short romance comedy Clowning Around (Yarn Spinner Entertainment).
The youngest of three siblings, Trevor was born in 1998 to Paul and Trish Loman, and is of Dutch descent.
Trevor received his BFA from The University of Lethbridge's Dramatic Arts Program in Theatre and Performance (2020). Since graduating, Loman has become eager to sell and develop his brand in acting across theatre, film, and television.
In his spare time Trevor enjoys playing a variety of sports such as hockey, golf, and volleyball. He also enjoys working on his music, hiking, skiing, traveling, reading, and working on his newest script.
